Good evening Correspondent sir, Dear parent, my fellow teachers and well wishers. The correspondent, staff and student of Jessie are proud to Welcome our chief guest Mrs. R.Jeyalakshmi and Mr. Joe, cine editor to grace the function.
It’s a matter of great pleasure and pride for me to present the annual report for the academic year 2016-17.
BRIEF HISTORY OF JESSIE
Our school Jessie matriculation higher secondary school is one of the best schools in trichy district which is making history in education for the past 29 years. The school was started on 4th june in the year 1987 with only 4 students and 4 teachers under a thatched roof. Today it has grown into a full-fledged matriculation Higher Secondary school, Co-educational school having classes from LKG to XII standard. The school gives more important given by team of 25 well qualified and dedicated teachers. Our school students are place in 67 countries all over the world. We welcome you all to experience the joy of learning in Jessie. The senior batches have been adding laurels to our school.
We are happy to share the good news from Nehru college of Aeronautics and applied Sciences, and Cauvery College appreciating our alumni of his alma mater, our school and teacher and congratulating the entire team of faculties.

Apart from learning our school conducted English and mathematics forums from literary Association.
Our student took part in the General Knowledge Quiz contest conducted by Bishop Heber College. Students Learn Karate in school. Mr. Christopher, child Evangelist once a week to entertain doing puppet show. Our School celebrate July 15th Kamarajar Birthday an August 15th Independence day hoisting the flag. We took the children to courtesan as an Educational tour in 2 buses and we can't express in words how everyone enjoyed. We celebrate teachers day on 5th September. Student honored all the teachers.
We are happy to share the good news from Nehru college of Aeronautics and applied Sciences, and Cauvery Coll Jessie Memorial Day was observed on October 31st. Kavirangam (poet’s meet) was held under the president ship of Mari Visuvasam college student poets participated and recited their poems in the title of vetrisigaram. Her birthday too was remembered on 16th February. We visited old age home in memory of her and distributed food packets to them. On December 23 our school celebrated Christmas function and Santa giving away sweet to the children.
“ Pongal was celebrated on 12th January in a very grand manner. The Pongal was cooked in new pot at auspicious time followed by the dance of LKG& UKG children. Everyone received Pongal and Sugarcane. Some student of 10th, 11th and teachers gave speech about jallikattu.IT was one of the joyous days of this year. We have kept medical camps several times in our school premises by the city corporation. Free Treatment was given to people living in and around our school. Free eye testing was also done. Many were asked to use spectacles Corporation praised our Correspondent for his magnanimity. Our school student were given Nilavembu juice prepared by city Corporation to eradicate Dengue fever. Over heartfelt thanks goes to Miss.Amaravathy our social science staff who is the cause for getting 2 student centum, 3 students 99, and 4 students 98 in social science examination conducted in 2015&2016. More than 20 students got above 90 marks. Anile got centum result in mathematics and Visalatchi got centum in Science. “

In 10th standard Vislatchi, Anila and Poovizhi secures more than 450 marks out of 500. We thanks all the teachers concerned who out great effort to get this achievement. We thanks all the teachers concerned who put great effort to get this achievement. We have conducted several parents’ teachers meeting for 10th and 12th and 3 meeting for other classes. The performance of each child is spoken in front of the parent. The most inviting and inspiring place of Jessie help the student to make a meaningful progress in their work till the end. Our school strives to make the children at pas with Englishmen there into conducting British English Course on every Sunday. Already 4 children are in this field. We had farewell party for the outing XII students. We thanks our school Volunteers and those who involved themselves in various activities. Before concluding we are happy to have you all for this annual day Celebrations. I could see a unique and talented mix of the city. We sincerely hope to present many more stories in the years to come. Our grateful thanks to the Almighty for this abundant blessing to Jessie family.
